The discovery of Vitamin K has thrown new light on our knowledge of hemorrhagic diseases and has altered our concepts of therapy, particularly in relation to prothrombin deficiency. Nevertheless, the administration of gelatin as an adjunct to Vitamin K therapy should prove beneficial and, in conditions accompanied by liver damage, gelatin therapy would appear to be definitely indicated.
